Luis DIAZ 7.23
Daniel MUNOZ 7.19
Ebere EZE 7.09

ONE TO WATCH

LUIS DIAZ
FORMER CLUBS – Atletico Junior, Baranquilla, Porto
Perhaps a bit of an unsung hero for the Reds on their march to the Premier League title, as the Colombian has more than made a contribution with 13 goals and 5 assists over the course of the season.

THE NUMBERS

Liverpool have lost just 1 of their last 15 Premier League games against Palace (W12 D2), though it was in this exact fixture last season.

Palace’s last 4 Premier League wins against Liverpool have come at Anfield, winning this exact fixture 1-0 last season.

When finishing the season at home, the Premier League champions have won their final match on 13 out of the last 14 occasions. The only exception was Manchester United losing against West Ham in 2006-07.

Liverpool haven’t lost their final league game of the season since 2014-15 (W7 D2), going down 6-1 at Stoke. When finishing the campaign at home, the Reds are unbeaten in 17 (W15 D2) since losing 2-0 against Arsenal in 1988-89.

Palace have won on just one of the 12 occasions their final top-flight match of the season has been away from home (D3 L8), beating Manchester City 3-2 in 1972-73.

Liverpool have scored 2+ goals in a Premier League record 31 games this season. In top-flight history, only Manchester United in 1956-57 and Tottenham Hotspur in 1960-61 have netted multiple goals in more games in a single campaign (32 games each).

Since confirming the title in April after their win over Tottenham, Liverpool have failed to win all 3 of their Premier League games (D1 L2). The Reds last went 4 without winning in the competition in April 2023, while in top-flight history, only 4 sides have won the title despite not winning any of their last 4 games that campaign: Burnley in 1920-21, Liverpool in 1976-77, and the Reds again in 1982-83.

Palace’s Oliver Glasner won 1-0 at Liverpool last season. He could become the fourth visiting manager to win his first 2 Premier League games at Anfield, after George Burley, José Mourinho and Louis van Gaal.

Liverpool’s Luis Díaz has either scored (4) or assisted (3) a goal in each of his last 7 Premier League appearances at Anfield. Overall, only Mohamed Salah (19) has been involved in more home league goals for the Reds this season than the Colombian (11 – 7 goals, 4 assists).

With 46 goal involvements (28 goals, 18 assists) in 2024-25, Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah is one short of the all-time Premier League seasonal record of 47, jointly held by Andy Cole (1993-94) and Alan Shearer (1994-95). However, the Egyptian has just 1 goal and 1 assist in his last 8 league matches, despite attempting 21 shots and creating 18 chances in this time.

KEY CLASH

DANIEL MUNOZ v CODY GAKPO
The Colombian has been is fantastic form this season for the Eagles and will likely scoop several player of the year awards, and he will sign off by taking on the Dutch attacker.

TEB PREDICTION

This final game of the season will be a celebration for both teams and an apt end to a successful campaign. The Reds will be crowned Premier League Champions, while the Eagles will proudly know that they are FA Cup winners. Who knows how the game will pan out, and there will not be many fans that will care much, but whatever happens, the visitors have recorded their highest points total in the Premier League.

PREDICTED SCORE: We’re 12th (could be 11th with a win) and don’t care, we won the FA Cup!
