The run of form away from home continues and has actually turned into a beast with the way that the Eagles are playing. This was not just a victory, it was an entertaining one with Palace having arguably played their best football of the season.

TEB VERDICT
The home form is a real problem, but when Palace follow it up with a result such as this one, it does tend to make up for it. Particularly considering the run of games unbeaten on the road now that Oliver Glasner has steered his side to, the last four all being victories, the first time Palace have managed this in the top flight.
The hosts are pushing higher up the table after some good form this season but they have suffered a little at home, and the Eagles made them look distinctly average in this game. A deserved lead through former centre back Joachim Andersen set them on there way, and a brilliant break topped off with a superb strike from Daniel Munoz sealed the victory.
This was a return to form for Ebere Eze after struggling of late to shake off injury, but the Palace number ten was instrumental in this game along with a number of very good individual performances.
Notable call outs to Maxence Lacroix, Daniel Munoz, Ebere Eze, Will Hughes and Jean-Philippe Mateta.
POST GAME QUOTES
OLIVER GLASNER
“All of the credit goes to the players again, they worked so hard for this win and they were very disciplined. We didn’t give them clear chances. We were very compact and waited for chances. We defended as a team, it was a great performance and result.
We don’t know the reason for winning more away than at home. It is the same approach. I think it is important that we don’t always talk about winning at home. Whenever we’re talking we are speaking about increasing our chances of winning and it is the same approach at home. That is the only thing we do. If we think ‘we have to win, we have to win’ you’re not thinking about what you’re doing on the pitch. you’re not disciplined, we know we can score goals all over the pitch and we can be very tough to play against, especially when we defend like we did today.”
MARCO SILVA
“The physicality is for both sides. The Premier League is a physical game. I never saw, this season or last season, Craven Cottage complaining as much today about decisions. We like to be a physical side but today we were unlucky with the referee. It is not the first time this season. They can have bad afternoons and it was clear today was a bad afternoon for the referee.”
