Well, that was quite an end to the campaign for the Eagles with Oliver Glasner at the helm which provides much needed positivity heading into the close season.
It is time we took a well earned break but there is one thing remaining to do before we sign off for the season – TEB Awards!
Over the past few days votes have been cast on our polls posted over on X. All votes have been counted and verified, so we are pleased to be able to announce the winners for each of our ten categories for the outgoing season.
A big thank you to everyone who voted and interacted with the team here at TEB HQ, not just for these awards, but throughout the season.

AWAY DAY OF THE SEASON

The first of two TEB Awards for the excellent performance at Anfield this season which was the outright winner in this category from the very start of the poll.
MOST IMPROVED PLAYER OF THE SEASON

This was not a contest from the very start as the ridiculous improvement we have seen in who is now our star striker since the Frenchman arrived at the club is nothing short of remarkable.
WORST MOMENT OF THE SEASON
- Hodgson looking sad at Arsenal 13%
- Conceding late against Luton 10%
- Heavy defeat at Brighton 38%
- Olise substitution at Brighton 39%
The tightest of all the categories and the two leading contenders were from the same game, but the decision to bring Michael Olise on only to go off injured down on the South Coast just nicked it.

Good votes for each of our nominations but we all love Tyrick and he took this well deserved award.

Easy vote this one as the Villa fans were in complete party mode no matter how many the Eagles put past them on the final day of the season.

It could have been a hat-trick of wins for the performance at Anfield but this category rightly went to the demolition of Manchester United at Selhurst Park. A victory that will live long in the memory, which completed a league double over them too!
GOAL OF THE SEASON
- Lerma v Chelsea 21%
- Ayew v Everton 2%
- Eze v West Ham 20%
- Olise v Luton 58%
The strike from Olise was sublime, and there were plenty of other contenders if we have more than four nominations to use, and it was a shame for the Jeffrey Schlupp strike at Fulham to miss out, but the goal at Luton was the rightly victor on this occasion.

A second award of the season for Mateta who is fully deserving of it after the season he has had and the goal glut in the run in to the end of the season rocketed him up the golden boot charts.
