EXCL: Eagles seek two incomings

Crystal Palace will push for permanent signings ahead of the closure of the January window.

The Eagles Beak understand that Crystal Palace are getting closer to agreeing a deal for Genk’s Daniel Munoz.

The Colombian international signed for the Belgian Club in 2020 and has since made 148 appearances, scoring nineteen and assisting twenty.

Blackburn’s Adam Wharton is also a favourite of the Palace hierarchy. The South London club are extremely interested in signing the midfielder to fill the void left by Cheick Doucouré. It remains to be seen whether or not the 19-year-old, who has just committed his long-term future to his boyhood club would be keen on a move to Selhurst Park.

The loan market does still remain an option for Palace, with the club remaining interested in Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah. However, sources close to the West London club have indicated that any deal would require an option or obligation to buy.
