Hot off the back of a big home win over Manchester City, Ronald Koeman’s Everton side make the trip to South London to face the Eagles.
Recent visits to Selhurst Park have been kind to the Toffeemen having returned to Goodison Park with four points from their latest two trips and only one goal scored.
With the first win under his belt as Eagles boss, Sam Allardyce will be looking to build on the FA Cup replay result against Bolton in midweek. While not at full strength, the Eagles progressed to the fourth round to secure a home tie against Manchester City.
The morale boosting win was much needed particularly ahead of welcoming an Everton side that convincingly beat a disappointing City side on Sunday that kept them 7th in the Premier League, seven points behind Manchester United in 6th.

ONE TO WATCH
KEVIN MIRALLAS
It has been cruel luck for former Eagle Yannick Bolasie but it is a stroke of luck for Kevin Mirallas who now finds himself back in favour at Goodison Park. The Belgian international with over fifty caps to his name was beginning to look surplus to requirements after making well off a hundred appearances for the club. Born in Leige, Mirallas began his career in the youth set up at Standard Liege but actually made his professional debut at Lille in 2004. Short stints followed at Saint-Etienne and Olympiacos before joining Everton in 2012.
PREDICTION
Final league position – 7th
The Toffees were touted as a team that could potentially break into the top six after an very good start to the season. However, a dip in form has seen them lose ground on the battle that is taking shape towards the top end of the table. Boss Ronald Koeman now has a transfer window to fine tune an already talented squad to ensure there is enough about them to secure as high a finish as possible.
