Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Lille left back Pape Souaré for a reported fee of €4.6m/£3.9m.
The Senegalese player has made 12 appearances in Ligue 1 so far this season. He also has continental experience in UEFA competitions, playing for Lille in the Europa League this season.
He has been on international duty in Equatorial Guinea playing for Senegal in the African Cup of Nations but they did not escape the group stage. They were in a tough group with Algeria, South Africa and Ghana.
The 24 year old born in Mbao, Senegal started his career at Diambars before moving to Lille. He had a loan spell at Reims but managed a total of over 100 appearances for Lille scoring 10 goals.
He has appeared for both the Senegal Olympic side as well as the full international side.
