 Week One

The Predictions League is back with a bang along with some new faces.

We hope that it will be as competitive as ever and it has certainly started that way. Two games completely fooled the predictors with Swansea beating United and Villa beating Stoke. One game that everyone predicted was the Chelsea win at Burnley.

The table has yet to get going as some predictors got caught out by the start of the season and not predicting on all of the games. But sharing the lead at the top with 100% records are CPFC Study Centre, Palace Stats, Five Year Plan, Red & Blue South and Croydon Advertiser. However, top scorer this week with 7 correct predictions was CPFC Comics and Palace Ladies.

Palace Faithful 6-6 Oppo Fans

For the opening weekend of the season we had Jack from Palace blog ‘Stand In The Sun’ representing the Palace Faithful and Liverpool fan Nick Truss representing the Oppo Fans.

At the half way point it was all square at two predictions each and they could not be split after that with four more correct predictions each in the second half of the weekends fixtures.

We thank both Jack and Nick for taking part in the opening week of the season. We will be looking for fans to take part every week so get in touch if you want to join in, both Palace fans and non Palace fans.
