Van Aanholt Leaves Black Cats For Palace

Palace boss has made his second signing of the January transfer window with the addition of Dutchman Patrick van Aanholt.

The 26 year old joins the Eagles on a four year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Born in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the left sided player joined the FC Den Bosch your academy in 2003 before moving on to PSV Eindhoven in 2005. He moved to England in 2007 to join the Chelsea youth academy and made his professional debut for the London club in 2009.

After loan spells at Coventry City, Newcastle United, Leicester City, Wigan Athletic and Vitesse Arnhem, van Aanholt signed for Sunderland where he made over 80 appearances scoring 7 goals.

He has six international caps to his name for Netherlands after representing his country at under 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 levels.
