It has been a swift return to the Premier League, just a one season absence spent in the Championship has paid dividends for the Turf Moor club.
Boss Shaun Dyche will be hoping that both he and his team have learnt from their previous foray at the top table as they bid to stay up this season. A few shrewd signings in the summer transfer window has no doubt given them a fighting chance and along with a few new recruits in January, they will be looking to roll their sleeves and battle with a host of other clubs all the way to the end of the season.
The Clarets are in a good patch of form having held an unconvincing Manchester United to a goalless draw as well as beating the likes of Everton and Watford on their own patch. In contrast, the Eagles travel on a run of four games without a win and three losses in succession.
Boss Alan Pardew will be keen to pick up all three points on this trip ahead of another international break, after which Palace face a difficult run of home fixtures that takes includes Manchester City, Southampton, Manchester United and Chelsea.
Palace always have a goal in them which will be a threat away from home but the biggest problem of late has been preventing them at the other end, particularly from set pieces which has so often been a strength.

ACTION REPLAY
It was a goal fest the last time these two sides met back in January 2015 at Turf Moor. The hosts races into a two goal lead thanks to Ben Mee and Danny Ings. Palace managed to pull a goal back before half time through Dwight Gayle and Jason Puncheon levelled straight after the break. Gayle scored his second of the game late on to seal all three points for the Eagles.

ONE TO WATCH
TOM HEATON
The Chester born stopper has been having some rave reviews this season, particularly after frustrating Manchester United at Old Trafford last weekend, a club where he spent time in their youth set up after moving from Wrexham. While at United, Heaton experienced loan spells at Swindon Town, Royal Antwerp, Cardiff City, Queens Park Rangers, Rochdale and Wycombe Wanderers before signing for Cardiff in 2010. After twenty-nine appearances, a move to Bristol City followed in 2012 where he made forty-three before moving to Turf Moor in 2013 on a two year deal. He has represented England at several youth levels as well as one full cap where he replaced Fraser Forster late on in a friendly match against Australia.
PREDICTION
Final league position – 16th
There is plenty about this Burnley side to suggest that they have a real chance of staying up this time around as lessons are likely to have been learnt. The way that the Premier League is shaping up suggests that there will be a whole host of teams in the mix down at the bottom come the end of the season which could end up being very good news for the Clarets.
