Our latest look at the latest news from in and around the club.
Stadium Developments
The Croydon Advertiser has this week been reporting that chairman Steve Parish intends on sharing plans for stadium redevelopments with fans before the summer is out. Much has been said about a potential move away from Selhurst Park but the suggestion is that the Eagles will remain.
Pre-Season
The squad returned from their three game tour of North America following a 2-2 draw with MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps. A brace from Frazier Campbell was not enough to end the tour with a win as the hosts scored a late equaliser.
A trip to Colchester United took place on Monday which Palace won 1-0 courtesy of a super strike from distance by Jordon Mutch. The squad was a mixture of first teamers and fringe players.
The first team squad are to face Fulham, Bromley and Valencia before the Premier League season kicks off on 13th August.
Palace Ladies
Ahead of what will be a tough season ahead for the Palace Ladies, it was goals galore in the latest two pre-season match ups after seeing off Crawley Wasps 9-1 and Basingstoke 6-0. Such results breed confidence and it is terrific to see the team carry on where they left off. Read our report of the game in Crawley last week on TEB.
Spurs Sold Out
Tickets for the second match of the season at White Hart Lane have already been sold out as fans look to get back to supporting the Eagles after almost three months of not being able to do so. It seems the travelling support is as strong as ever.
Mandanda Arrival
New signing Steven Mandanda will arrive at the club on 1st August and will almost definitely make his debut in goal against Spanish side Valencia.
Collymore Predicts Palace Surprise
Former Eagle and ex Talksport presenter Stan Collymore has predicted Everton and Palace to be surprice packages this season in the Premier League. He held a question and answer session on Twitter at the weekend where he mentioned how impressed he has been with the appointment at Goodison Park of Ronald Koeman and the additions Palace have made so far this summer.
