Awards Handed Out At Fairfield Halls
The invincible Palace Ladies held their awards evening at the Fairfield Halls in Croydon on in what was a very enjoyable Saturday night. It was an evening of deserved plaudits for players, staff and volunteers alike who were joined by guests Palace legend Andrew Johnson and actor Bill Nighy. Hosting the evening were Palace’s very own Chris Grierson and Sky Sports’ Vicky Gomersall. Among the many winners on the evening, first team players Freya Holdaway (players) and Gemma Bryan (managers and supporters) took the top awards. Receiving special awards were very deserving Richard Callaghan and Kirk Scott.
Eagles At The Euros
All four Palace players that have traveled to France to take part in the European Championships face an extended stay. Yohan Cabaye watched on as France beat Republic Of Ireland 2-1 to reach the quarter final stage. Joining them in the next round are Wales who saw off Northern Ireland 1-0 with Wayne Hennessey, Joe Ledley and Jonny Williams all playing their part.
Away Season Tickets
The club have confirmed that away season tickets are now available to purchase online which is a scheme that provides fans with guaranteed priority booking for all nineteen Premier League away games in the 2016/17 season. Go to the official club website for more details.
Reporting For Duty
The Palace squad will soon be back at the Beckenham training ground to start the preparation for their 2016/17 Premier League campaign other than those on international duty. The pre-season schedule begins in Philadelphia on the 13th July on their three game North American tour. There are two more friendly matches in the pipeline which are rumored to be La Liga side Valencia at Selhurst Park and Fulham away (dates to be confirmed).
