If winning the FA Cup last season, Palace go and win the Community Shield and a European competition at the very first attempt.
Perhaps it’s ironic that the saying is similar for what it is said about red buses and a team from South London goes and picks up three trophies in twelve months having not won one before (other than the ZDS which apparently was not a recognised competition but we have always brought it up!)
Now that the long 2025/26 campaign is over, we posted polls on Instagram stories, and we are very pleased to reveal the victors for each of our nine categories for what has been a season to remember.
A big thank you to everyone who voted and to those of you that have interacted with the team here at TEB HQ on socials and read any of our articles throughout the season.

- 68% – Leipzig, Germany (Rayo)
- 15% – Florence, Italy (Fiorentina)
- 5% – Lublin, Poland (Dynamo Kiev)
- 12% – Krakow, Poland (Shakhtar Dontesk)
The European campaign dazzled us so all we could think of for this category was the most wonderful trips we experienced, but obviously victory in the final took the plaudits.
MOST IMPROVED PLAYER OF THE SEASON
- 15% – Tyrick Mitchell
- 85% – Jaydee Canvot
- 0% – Chadi Riad
- 0% – Rio Cardines
One of many one sided votes this season with the young Frenchman stealing the show especially after stepping up following the departure of Marc Guehi.
WORST MOMENT OF THE SEASON
- 20% – Glasner press conference
- 5% – Home loss to Burnley
- 76% – Macclesfield cup loss
- 0% – Guehi leaving
It seems such a long time ago now but had we been told that you would have to suffer embarrassment before experiencing more glory, we would have snapped your arm off amid laughing lots!
OPPOSITION FANS OF THE SEASON
- 56% – Shakhtar Dontesk
- 29% – Fiorentina
- 9% – Leeds United

We saw some great fans from across Europe visit our corner of London this season, but Shakhtar impressed you the most in the two legged semi final.
BEST MOMENT OF THE SEASON
- 91% – Winning the Conference League
- 5% – Victory at Brighton
- 2% – Lublin (first European away game)

There had to be a strong contender if winning away in Brighton was not going to take this award, and that night in Leipzig made it a landslide.

- 16% – Jorgen Strand Larsen
- 69% – Yeremy Pino
- 16% – Evann Guessand
- 0% – Brennan Johnson
The little Spaniard has struggled at times in his first season at the club, but he had several bright spots which you appreciated and can see the promise that he has brought with him.

The departed captain scored a corker at Villa in a midweek away trip which was part of another demolition of the side that ended up Europa League winners.
PLAYER OF THE SEASON
- 82% – Ismaila Sarr
- 11% – Tyrick Mitchell
- 5% – Dean Henderson
- 2% – Maxence Lacroix
The attacker who has joined up with his Senegal teammates ahead of the World Cup took the award in a season that he has hugely impressed, especially when you consider the transfer fee that was paid for him. He has been a steal!
TEB SPECIAL CONTRIBUTION AWARD
This award last appeared at the end of the 2021/22 season, which marked the end of TEB’s 10th season, and it was brought back last season for a special outing. Well, there was no question that it had to appear again this season for a very special man.
Oliver Glasner has brought us the very best times supporting the club by bringing us the FA Cup, Community Shield and a European Trophy in the space of twelve months. There is very little more to be said and while we are sad it is over, we are happy it happened. The Austrian made us believe and joy and emotion shared at Wembley and Leipzig will live long in the memory.
