POST GAME QUOTES
OLIVER GLASNER
“Good win today. It took us 15 minutes to be in the game – we did well, scored nice goals, and controlled the game. I don’t know how often this happens when you play the champions three times within three months, and you win three times. So, credit to the players.
First 15 minutes we didn’t do well, we had the feeling we were still in the hotel beds. Played slowly into the game, we scored nice goals, the performance was okay, but it was not a great performance.”

TEB VERDICT
The Eagles bounced back after a run of four games without a win by once proving once again they are kryptonite for Liverpool.
The hosts who are in worse form that Palace elected to field a hugely changed team showing just how little respect they have for the competition this season, but Palace still had to beat the side in front of them.
Ismaila Sarr enjoyed himself against Liverpool once again by bagging a brace, with the cherry on the cake being Yemery Pino scoring his first for the club. The Spaniard has had his critics in recent weeks but he showed just what he can offer this Palace side.
The visitors put in a very professional performance at Anfield which sees them into the last eight of a competition that could well be in the sights of Oliver Glasner and his players.
Far too many notable individual performances to mention but Daichi Kamada ran the show, the centre back threesome were solid, and seeing Pino playing well was a joy to watch.
