THE NUMBERS

Palace have won just 1 of their past 20 Premier League games against Everton, beating them 3-1 at Selhurst Park in December 2021.

David Moyes has lost all 3 of his managerial meetings with Oliver Glasner – twice against Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2021-22 Europa League and once against Palace in the Premier League last season while in charge at West Ham.

Only 3 managers have won each of their first 4 games against David Moyes: Claudio Ranieri won his first 6, while Alex Ferguson and Manuel Pellegrini won their first 4.

Everton were 2-1 victors at Goodison Park in September and are looking to complete the league double over Palace for the first time since 2004-05.

Palace have won 4 of their last 6 Premier League matches, following a run of only 3 victories in their opening 18 fixtures.

The Eagles have also kept 3 clean sheets in their 4 most recent league games, as many as their previous 15. However, Palace have triumphed in only 2 Premier League home fixtures this season, the lowest tally of any club other than Ipswich Town and Southampton.

Their tally of 11 points at home is Palace’s third lowest after 12 games at Selhurst Park in a Premier League campaign.

Jean-Philippe Mateta needs 1 goal to move joint-second with Christian Benteke on the list of Palace’s all-time Premier League scorers. Benteke has 35 goals, behind only Wilfried Zaha.

Mateta has scored 6 goals in 5 Premier League matches in 2025, more than he managed in his first 19 appearances this season.

The Frenchman has scored 23 goals in 37 top-flight fixtures under Oliver Glasner, following 11 in his previous 80 appearances.

KEY CLASH

JEAN-PHILIPPE MATETA v JAMES TARKOWSKI
This will be a fascinating match up with the Everton defender netting the late equaliser against Liverpool in midweek while the French striker will be keen on adding to his goal tally after the brace against Manchester United.

TEB PREDICTION

This will be a tight game as the visitors have found some form under returning boss David Moyes, but this fixture comes quickly off the back of an emotional final Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park. Palace will have had a couple more days rest which may well be pivotal, and it is time for the hosts to be more consistent at home reflecting the excellent away form.

PREDICTED SCORE: 2-1 to Palace
