This could have been a very tricky cup tie, particularly as it was the biggest gap between two opponents in any of the fourth round fixtures, but Oliver Glasner steered his side to yet another cup victory this season.

TEB VERDICT
This was a professional performance that secures a fifth-round tie at home to Millwall after seeing off a tricky opponent in Doncaster Rovers.
Oliver Glasner gave Adam Wharton an important sixty plus minute run out which continue his return to full fitness, while we also had a glimpses of Ben Chilwell who entered the fray at the interval as well as Matheus Franca who has had terrible luck with injuries since he joined the club. Ebere Eze and Ismaila Sarr did not make the trip.
Goals from Daniel Munoz and Justin Devenny along with another solid performance from the back line who did enough to protect Matt Turner in between the sticks. The result continues the excellent run of games undefeated away from home.
Other than the back three, there was a notable performances from Will Hughes in the heart of the midfield and provided a lovely assist for Devenny.
POST GAME QUOTES
OLIVER GLASNER
“Pleased with the win. Difficult circumstances with the pitch and the players did well most of the time. We scored nice goals, we could have decided it a bit earlier perhaps but many positive aspects – Adam Wharton back and playing 60 minutes and also a debut for Ben Chilwell.
Many positive aspects but the most positive one was winning here and going through to the next round. I want to go to Wembley.”
WILL HUGHES
“I think we’ve always got a chance and the gaffer’s told us that many times. We’ve taken all the cup competitions seriously and how we approach the game and I think that’s shown this season and it’s another chance to go far.
“We had such a poor start in the league, it was disappointing but we’ve bounced back really well. It shows a lot of character and we’re in a good position at the moment results-wise and performances. We’ve just got to keep that up.”
GRANT MCCANN
“I am proud of the players. They are in a good run of form, we knew it would be a tough game for us.
“First half we struggled to get near the ball a bit. Second half we changed a bit and started very well, we were on the front foot. I am proud of the players and the whole city really, the fans were great tonight. Disappointed but we can learn from it.
“The shape change for the second half helped us. There were not many opportunities for them in the first half but I didn’t like we were too deep. Second half we created chances. We had some good moments in the game but it wasn’t meant to be.
This gave a flavour of what this club is amount. We ultimately feel this club is a Championship club and it is our job to move us through the leagues.”
