PALACE – Matheus Franca and Chadi Riad continue to miss out through injury while Rob Holding is unlikely to feature. Trevoh Chalobah will be assessed as will Cheick Doucoure who was forced off in the draw with Leicester at the weekend.
QPR – Sam Field suffered a knock at the weekend and was replaced at half time so will be assessed, while Ilias Chair is likely to continue to miss out due to injury.

EFL CUP FORM
Last season Palace left the competition at the Third Round stage at the hands of Manchester United at Old Trafford while QPR had lost out to Norwich City in the First Round.
The two sides last met each other in a cup competition back in November 1991 when Palace travelled to take on QPR at Loftus Road and managed to progress in the Full Members Cup after a 3-2 victory. Before that, you have to go back to March 1982 where QPR beat Palace 1-0 in the FA Cup.
QPR reached the Third Round this season by beating Luton Town 4-1 on penalties after a 1-1 draw at Loftus Road.

TEB PREDICTION
With the hope that the Eagles continue to take the competition seriously, and there is no reason not to believe Oliver Glasner and his approach, there should be a strong side taken across London to take on QPR who are in good form in the Championship. It will not be an easy game under the lights at Loftus Road but we are hoping to see Palace in the draw for the Fourth Round for the first time for a few seasons.
