TEB VERDICT

However much Oliver Glasner had an impact on the squad this week, this was a refreshing new start for the Eagles with a good result against a poor side struggling in the Premier League this season.

Of course, the red card for the visitors before the break helped but three goals in an eleven minutes second half flurry ensured the points would go to the Eagles.

This was a lively performance from the hosts and while it will take a while for the way that Glasner wants the players to play will take time, there were plenty out there looking to impress the new boss. That ultimately ended in a good all round team performance that got the job done, with Jordan Ayew once again shining for the second time in a week.

It is exciting to see how things will progress under Glasner in the coming weeks, but this was the perfect start and the players made sure of that.
