It is hard to disguise the disappointment felt by fans at the final whistle following this comprehensive beating by our rivals. Simply put, there was a distinct lack of creatively and no direction on and off the pitch.

TEB VERDICT
You could argue that this was worse than the last away outing at the Emirates where Arsenal handed Palace a beating. This was at the hands of our arch rivals and the manner of which the game unfolded showed very little in the way of fight and desire. That is hard to even type about a Palace side, but that is the truth.
While injuries have been an utter hindrance, that was compounded with the first half loss of Marc Guehi and a very short stint off the bench by Michael Olise with Ebere Eze not even making it there. Adam Wharton and Daniel Munoz could be forgiven for thinking what they have arrived into after being handed their debuts.
Will or should Roy Hodgson survive this latest debacle? Early suggestions say that he will as surely he would have been relieved of his duties after the home loss to Bournemouth or the trouncing at Arsenal. Patrick Vieira was sacked for a lesser result against Brighton.
