LIVE UPDATES
….
1.20pm – That is it from us this afternoon. Check out our match preview ahead of kick off tomorrow. Those of you heading to the South Coast, see you there!

1.19pm – Edmund Brack from the South London Press has revealed that Blackburn Rovers enquired about taking Jesurun Rak-Sakyi on loan as part of the deal for Adam Wharton, but the 21 year old is firmly in Roy Hodgson’s plans for the second half of the season.
1.17pm – For those travelling to the game tomorrow, we understand that the police liaison officer has advised that there will be a special train stopping at Three Bridges, East Croydon and Victoria. This may not be until 5.55pm which suggests there will be a hold back.
1.14pm – Michael Olise has been directly involved in at least one goal in each of his past five Premier League appearances for Palace (five goals, three assists). He could become the first Palace player to score or assist in six consecutive appearances in the competition should he do so in this match.
1.13pm – Palace have won two of their past three Premier League matches, as many as in their previous 15 league games combined. They have netted three goals in both wins, having only scored three goals in one of their previous 23 league games, a 3-2 win over Wolves in September.
1.11pm – Brighton had 42 shots without scoring in the Premier League in January, failing to find the net in all three matches. By comparison, they scored nine goals from just 24 shots in the FA Cup.
1.10pm – Brighton are unbeaten in their past nine Premier League home games (W4 D5), since a 3-1 loss against West Ham in August. It is their longest run without a home league defeat since a run of 14 between September 2016 and February 2017, and their longest ever such run in the top flight.
1.09pm – Palace have failed to win any of their past five Premier League games against Brighton since a 2-1 away win in February 2021.
1.03pm – Having won this exact fixture 1-0 in March last season, Brighton are looking to win consecutive home league games against Palace for the first time since a run of seven between 1979 and 1988.
1.02pm – Some facts coming up ahead of the game tomorrow….
12.48pm – “Joel is coming on well. He is getting close now. He does his clearance this weekend. He has been training on his own, or with the sports science and medical people who have been conducting a programme to get him through to a point where they think it is now safe for him to join in with the team. That will happen on Monday because his clearance is this weekend.”
12.47pm – “I don’t know with Ebere, but I don’t think Michael will be out of this weekend’s game, but I can’t give you a 100 percent guarantee.”
12.46pm – “When it comes to Michael, I’m presuming and hoping he’ll be okay because it was partly precautionary, the reason why he came off. We’d agreed with him that if he felt tired and he started to feel it that he should let us know and if it went beyond a certain point, don’t push it if you’re feeling that maybe there’s a risk that something will happen. That’s what he did. He was beginning to feel signs of muscle fatigue coming on so he asked to come off.”
12.45pm – “Ebere came off feeling tightness in his hamstring, so he is going for a scan and we’ll have to wait and see, I suppose, what the result of that is. He didn’t ask to come off, it was something which happened during the course of the game, so his muscle strain needs to be investigated.”
12.44pm – “The same applies to Daniel who has also been playing on a regular basis. They both come from clubs where they have been playing every week, and they have reported no injuries at all so both will be available.”
12.43pm – “Adam is available – he’s been playing all the games up to now. There is no reason medically why he couldn’t feature in the game if I want to put him in the team,”
12.40pm – In other news, it is understood that a loan deal for Jack Wells-Morrison to Northampton broke down late yesterday as did a permanent move to Portsmouth for Jayden Raymond.
12.35pm – Hodgson confirms that a deal for Maxwel Cornet was on the cards on deadline day.
12.34pm – New signings and Adam Wharton and Daniel Munoz will both be available for the game.
12.33pm – Hodgson explains that he is not sure about Eze, he is going for a scan shortly. Hoping Olise will be okay.
12.24pm – While we wait for Roy, check out our match preview which has just gone live.
12.20pm – Roy Hodgson is due to speak to the press ahead of the trip to Brighton at any moment.
