ONE TO WATCH

JAMES MADDISON

FORMER CLUBS – Coventry City, Norwich City, Aberdeen (loan)

The attacking midfielder made his first start for England against Ukraine at Wembley last Sunday and will be on a high as a result. He has just passed 150 appearances for the Foxes, the most for any club that Maddison has played for.

KEY CLASH

WILFRIED ZAHA v RICARDO PEREIRA

We are all expecting, and hoping, Wilf to become the talisman yet again as we kick off the run in and we know he is good enough to take on any full back. He will likely be up against the talented yet injury prone Portuguese international.

PRE-MATCH FACTS

DID YOU KNOW?

Leicester City hold the joint record for most second-tier title triumphs. The Foxes have won the First Division six times and the Championship once, meaning they are level with Manchester City on seven.

PREDICTION

Roy Hodgson will want to get off to a flyer after his surprise return to the club following teh sacking of Patrick Vieira. This game is the first of a number of winnable fixtures against teams below Palace in the table but that does not make things any easier. Three wins, maybe four, are needed between now and the end of the season and we are backing the fans to get behind Roy and his team at Selhurst to get them over the line in this one, but it will be tight.

FINAL SCORE: 2-1
