Final Push Ahead Of TEB Making Marathon March Debut

On Saturday, the third annual Palace for Life Foundation Marathon March takes place.

Around 150 Palace fans will walk the 26 miles from Selhurst Park to Trafalgar Square to raise money for vulnerable young people in South London. Last year over £100,000 was raised.

Former players Andy Johnson, Mark Bright and Andy Gray will be joining the walk, as well as Foundation patron Eddie Izzard while chairman, Steve Parish, is hoping to complete the full route for the second year running.

All funds raised will go towards the mental health programme, Team Mates, which runs in primary schools, helping children build their self-esteem and self-confidence and encouraging them to talk about their feelings.

The 2019 Marathon March is the first for us at TEB and even though we have been invited to take part the last two years, this will be our debut. Goodness only knows what we have let ourselves in for but what we do know is that every penny that is donated is going to a fantastic cause.

In an effort to offer a reward to our followers that dig deep for the cause, the guys at the excellent Art Of Football as well as Matthew Wood have both donated Palace related images for us to give away to help us raise more money.

Huge thanks to both for their generosity. So, to be in with a chance of winning either of the prints, just do the following:

  1. Donate any amount to our Just Giving page by clicking right HERE!
  2. Quote “TEB” in the comments when you donate

Remember, every penny helps and we want to raise as much money as possible. At the time of writing, we are close to reaching our target but we intend on passing that by some distance.

We will be sharing our experience on the day across our social media channels so keep an eye out.
