We are very happy to be able to promote a game that is in aid of a very worthwhile cause which has been organised by football photographer and friend of the site Michael Hulf.
The game itself will be played to raise money for Prostate Cancer Research, a fantastic charity that focuses more on the actual research for finding a cure than raising awareness like its more well known other charity.

It is being played on Sunday May 10th (the day after Manchester United visit Selhurst Park) at Horley Town Football Club. The match will be contested between an XI team picked by myself against the Crawley Town Supporters Alliance. A similar event took place last year which the Alliance ran out 9-6 winners.
The kick off is 3pm with the gates open from 1.30pm. Entry is £3 with kids going free. The first 150 get a free shirt.
There will be a stall selling the charities products along with collection buckets to raise as much as possible. There will also be hot food and drinks, alcoholic and non alcoholic, available throughout the whole day.
Former Crawley Town player Sergio Torres is currently confirmed to be the guest of honour with a few other professionals to be announced. I have also volunteered to dust off my boots and offer my skills for the game but certainly not close to that of some of the other players on show, that is for sure!
The day promises to be a fantastic occasion so we hope that plenty of people turn up to support the event.
