Week Five
As usual there were a few games that surprised our predictors this week. Only Red & Blue South chose Southampton to beat Swansea City while Holmesdale Radio were alone in predicting West ham United would beat Liverpool.
Top predictors for the week were Holmesdale Radio, HLTCO and Palace Ladies who all got five correct out of a possible ten.
As for the standings, CPFC Comics retain the lead at the top with 48% from the 50 games played in the Premier League so far this season. Staying in 2nd place is the CPFC Study Centre with 46.51% while Palace Ladies, EPL Roundtable and Red N Blue Army sit joint 3rd with 46%.
Palace Faithful 1-3 Oppo Fans
This week we welcomed back Liverpool fan Jim Fishlock who represented the Oppo Fans while Palace fan Jeremy Nash returned to represent the Palace Faithful.
It was Jim that took an early 2-0 lead after four games and he never looked back and took a comfortable 3-1 win over Jeremy. So after five weeks the Palace Faithful have a 2-1 lead over the Oppo Fans along with two draws.
