Week Two
The second week of the season is in the history books so let us take a look at how the results have effected our Predictions League for our participants.
The only game to cause our predictors any trouble this week apart from HLTCO was the West Ham United win over Palace. Clearly a case of rose tinted spectacles for the majority!
There were three top scorers this week all with seven correct predictions out of the ten games – CPFC Comics (for the 2nd week in a row!), RedNBlueArmy and Holmesdale Radio.
Taking over at the top of the table is CPFC Comics 70% followed closely by Five Year Plan and Red & Blue South in 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
Palace Faithful 6-4 Oppo Fans
This we had Mark Smethurst step forward to represent the Palace Faithful and Bristol City fan Sam Brown for the Oppo Fans.
It was one way traffic in this one after six games as Mark went into a 4-1 lead but Sam managed to pull it back to 5-4 with just the Monday night game to go. Both had different selections as Manchester City took on Liverpool but Mark took the spoils in the end.
We thank both for taking part this week. If you or know anyone that would like to represent either throughout the course of the season then get in touch with us.
