World Cup Predictions League

With the quarter finals out of the way it is time for the penultimate update from the Predictions League.

The draw after ninety minutes between the Netherlands and Costa Rica had everyone stumped and only EPL Roundtable and Holmesdale Radio chose the Brazil win over Colombia.

Performance of the week for the second time with three from four correct predictions is Holmesdale Radio.

 (60%). Closing the gap in second is EPL Roundtable with 33 (55%) with The Eagles Beak and Art Of Football sharing third place with 32 (53.33%).

And so we move on to the final round of the competition which covers predictions for the semi final games, the third placed play off and the final. The title is there to lose for Palace Memes with only EPL Roundtable in with a chance of catching them.

As for the wooden spoon it is looking like one of six in the fight to avoid the bottom spot which is currently jointly occupied by CPFC Comics and Red Blue South CPFC.

Palace Faithful 2-0 Oppo Fans

In this round we had Jeremy Nash representing the Palace Faithful while Arsenal fan Keith McIndoe represented the Oppo Fans.

It was Jeremy who took the plaudits for the Palace Faithful by correctly predicting Germany to beat France and Argentina to beat Belgium.

After five rounds it is all square as the Palace Faithful and Oppo Fans have two wins each and one draw between them. We thank Jeremy and Keith for taking part this week.
