Palace sign Tom Ince

Crystal Palace have signed English under 21 winger Thomas Ince on a loan until the end of the season from Blackpool. The fee is supposedly £1 million pounds.

The 22-year-old could make his debut on Sunday, when the high flying eagles play Arsenal in the Premier League.

Ince joins Palace as they mount their challenge to stay in the Premier League. An upturn in fortunes for the Eagles since Tony Pulis arrived in November 2013 has aided their league position to 14th, well above expectations. Crystal Palace beat many Premier League clubs to the signing including Swansea. However, it is not likely that Palace will make this deal permanent due to the player’s ability to leave on Bosman Ruling from his parent club. One club interested in this acquisition is the French club AS Monaco.

The winger is a youth product of the Premier League club Liverpool but he failed to make a first team appearance for the club. His first senior appearance was with League One club Notts County.

His recent history includes one hundred appearances for Blackpool over the past 3 years. He has scored 31 goals in that time, including one in Wembley.
