Tottenham Hotspur have made an enquiry for Crystal Palace star Ebrechi Eze.
Palace will look to demand a fee in excess of £70million due to the expected departure of France Under 21 international, Michael Olise, who is expected to join Chelsea as his release clause has been triggered.
It is understood that Palace would have originally listened to offers at around £55million, but the expected departure of Olise has forced them to raise their demands.
At this time, sources have made it clear that Spurs have firm interest but are not expected to meet Palace’s valuation.
Any sale involving Eze would force Tottenham to break their record transfer fee.
