It is just Scottish football with more money and lapdogs.
I love how certain, okay, all mainstream journalists flock to the fact that La Liga is in the same category as the German League or the Premier League.
Let’s all laugh at that folks. While we are here, can we agree that the Premier League isn’t the best in the world either? Yes, main stream media is always going to go to the flashy, shiny thing because they are looking for the fast way to attract the viewers.
We have here in the States BEIN Sports (run by Qatar) that show La Liga matches, and there’s some really attractive football there. Here’s the problem, the money, and most of the players are at Barca or Real Madrid.
We’re seeing Athletico Madrid matter this year. Think about that, they matter. But we all know deep down inside that to pay their bills this year they have to sell everyone good and will lose their manager at the end of the season to either Spurs or Manchester United.
Valencia, a club that was a very good team a while back, is either always bankrupt or on the borderline. They have a massive following here in the US but wouldn’t it be awesome if they had more money? But wait, the Spanish FA, media and the big clubs don’t care. As long as they can plunder the other teams of their talent and get wins, why care about the little guys?
It’s kind of what life is like for everyone else outside of sports.
La Liga is almost like my title says, Scottish football minus the corruption and the money.
