Welcome to the second edition of the new and improved The Eagles Punt.
Last week saw the debut of a virtual betting competition between various fan websites as well as a fellow Palace tipster.
The gents behind Twitter handles @Andy_Bloss (who represents Five Year Plan), @HLTCO, @RedNBlueArmy1 and @EagleGolfTips all got off to an inauspicious start, all scoring the dreaded -£30. Your TEB tipster came through with a £15 profit to take an early lead, though that may not last very long!

Preview
It is a difficult game to preview. Who knows what Palace will turn up? The players are more than professional enough to get us through this game and I have a feeling we will be ramming the recent events straight down Big Sam’s gullet.
I can see the former tactics of getting through to half time and then pushing on in the second half with the likes of Gayle and Williams playing a part. I am hoping and have had visions that Bolasie will smash one into the top corner (of the goal please Yannick, not the lower tier) at the Holmesdale End causing mass pile-ups across the Stand.
