Palace Women Lose Some Quality From Their Ranks, But Not For Good
It is a shame to read that Freya Holdaway has decided to part company with the club as a player, but is expected to go down the coaching route. If that proves to be the case, Freya will be the first Palace player to do so which she has said ‘would be an incredible proud moment for me‘. We appreciate the contributions Freya has made to TEB in the past and we wish her well for the future. Read her farewell message over on the official club website.
Selhurst Get The Builders In
In order to meet social distancing rules, the club have been forced to make some internal renovations. It is no secret that the changing rooms at Selhurst are not on the large side, but serious concerns were raised when initial reviews were undertaken due to how some parts of the ground are very tight on space, along with Turf Moor and Stamford Bridge. Thankfully, the first couple of games for the Eagles are away from home which has allowed work to take place.
Contract Extensions For Five Palace Women
With their season at an end, Dean Davenport has started work on his squad for next season already. The club have moved to take up the options of securing Cherelle Khassal, Amy Goddard, Leeta Rutherford, Amber Stobbs and and Amber Gaylor.
Zaha Adds To His Car Collection
The latest addition to Wilfried Zaha’s driveway is a Rolls-Royce Dawn worth £300,000. Supercar dealer Tom Hartley based in Derbyshire has dealt with Wilf and his passion for cars before and they spotted the ‘Dawn’ for £200,000. Carl Hartley who delivered the vehicle said, ‘He actually swapped a Rolls-Royce so I drove down in one and drove back in another!’
Hodgson Planning On Bolstering Squad In Summer
In an interview with BT Sport, Roy Hodgson made it clear that he has plans for the summer transfer window even though it is not clear what the impact of the pandemic will have on the game going forward. “The investment that we have been able to do in the last few years has not been as big or extensive as anyone at the club would have liked. “I’m hoping that now once we get going we will be sitting down and talking very seriously about the type of players who are on the market and the type of players we would like to attract to the club.”
Club Shops Have Reopened
Appropriate safety measures have been implemented to allow the stores at Selhurst Park, Bromley Glades and Croydon Centrale to reopen.
