It has been a decent spell in the league since our last report on the local team that we are following for the 2014/15 season, Croydon FC.
Six points from four games for the Trams sees them move up to 13th in the Southern Counties East Premier League table, just a point behind Greenwich Borough and a small matter of three points off the top ten.
11/10 Croydon 0-3 Tunbridge Wells
Not the best of starts to this period of games with a home loss to Tunbridge Wells but the visitors have been challenging the top four in the table of late and arguably favourites to win this one.
25/10 Canterbury City 2-1 Croydon Town
A trip to deepest Kent was of no consolation for the Trams as they lost by a single goal to a team that are currently residing 7th in the table.
01/11 Croydon 1-0 Beckenham Town
A superb win at home to a side challenging the top two in the league which ended the run of consecutive defeats.
08/11 Woodstock Sports 1-3 Croydon
An excellent away win at Woodstock Sports completes the double over the opponents even at this early stage of the season.
The Croydon Arena is the venue that will host leaders Erith and Belvedere this weekend as Croydon attempt to get their third win in a row. It will a tough ask but the confidence is high after two wins in successions. The Trams follow that up with a trip to Rochester United (17th) before home games against Crowborough Athletic (11th) and Holmesdale (10th).
With no game for Palace this weekend we encourage fans looking for a football fix to get down to the Croydon Arena and cheer on the Trams against the league leaders.
