FA Cup finalists Crystal Palace unveiled their all new kits for the 2016/17 season.
As one of the staples of the Premier League in this current era, the traditional red and blue stripes are out of fashion for the Eagles. The new home kit takes inspiration from clubs such as Ajax and PSG, as Palace ditch the stripes for a single vertical band of blue, bordered by red on both sides. Collar is a crew neck for yet another season.
For the away, the unorthodox theme continues as an iconic Palace kit is influenced by a certain owner’s love for the colour yellow. The sash is back, but in a way we’ve never seen before at the club. Taking inspiration from Barcelona’s 1979 UEFA Super Cup home kit (link), the kit is yellow, with a standard red and blue sash going from the right shoulder to the left bottom corner.
In my humble opinion, both of these efforts are hideous, but on the plus side, the kits will probably be rare as sales will be as low as the black and yellow 1990 Cup Final replay shirt. Buy one if you want to earn some money in 20 years time.
I rate both of these the exact same out of 10.

What I find normally happens is that the kits go from disgusting to great throughout the season
Usually that’s what happens, but this does not look like Palace to me.

Got to agree, both strips look terrible, particularly the away one. What’s wrong with the predominately all white strip with maroon and blue vertical stripes on the shirt (from the good old days) for the away outfit !
I have to agree about the home kit possible because last year’s shirt was very good. Although yellow away is palace and like the red and blue strips
